The board of North Carolina Presbyterian Higher Education Ministries is seeking the support of churches and individuals to:

  • Covenant in prayer for and with campus pastors, chaplains, students and faculty. (See the Links page to get prayer ideas by visiting the various websites)
  • Support and Encourage Presbyterian Campus Ministers and Chaplains in North Carolina
  • Coordinate and Increase funding for Presbyterian and Ecumenical Campus Ministries
  • Coordinate with Presbyterian Related Campus Chaplains
  • Expand Presbyterian Ministries at Community Colleges
  • Expand Presbyterian Ministries at Racial-Ethnic Colleges and Universities.
  • Offer training for ministry boards and student leaders
  • Coordinate with the NC Student Collegiate Council
  • Cooperate with the Professional Association of Campus Ministers
  • Encourage churches to develop programs for persons in higher education
  • Be advocates for ministries to students, faculty and staff in institutions of higher education in North Carolina.
Churches, Circles, Individuals and Alumni are encouraged to give to NC Presbyterian Higher Education Ministries in support of ministering to students, faculty and staff in Higher Education.
